The journey of Asha MBKS Society began with a simple yet powerful belief — that every woman deserves an opportunity to grow, learn, and live with dignity.
Facing early life challenges while balancing personal responsibilities, I understood closely the struggles many women face — lack of opportunities, limited financial independence, and the absence of supportive platforms. Instead of stepping back, I chose to step forward with resilience and a commitment to create change.
Motivated by a deep sense of responsibility toward society, I founded Asha MBKS Society in 2009 with the vision of empowering women from underserved and marginalized communities. Under my leadership, the organization has built pathways for women to gain skills, education, livelihood opportunities, and confidence to shape their own futures.
My work with tribal women, artisans, and rural communities continues to inspire me every day. Working closely with the Tharu tribal community has shown me the incredible reservoir of talent and tradition that exists in our rural regions. These women carry generations of craftsmanship, yet they lacked the platforms and market access to showcase their skills.
Today, I am proud to see many of these women standing as independent entrepreneurs, contributing to their household income, and becoming respected voices in their communities. Their transformation proves that when given the right support, women don't just survive—they thrive and lead.
As we continue this journey, my commitment remains steadfast: to ensure that every woman, regardless of her background, has access to the tools, training, and opportunities she needs to build a life of dignity and self-reliance. Together, we are not just changing individual lives—we are transforming entire communities.
